Training Style
My training style is comparable to a mix of Jillian Michaels and Tony Horton (creator of P90X):Comparable to Jillian Michaels because like her, I combine a motivating, no-nonsense approach with empathy. I focus on pushing clients to reach their goals, addressing fears and challenges head-on while being encouraging. I emphasize proper form, technique, and safety, similar to how she prioritizes injury prevention and effective workouts in her programs. My approach also mirrors Tony Horton in terms of offering variety and well-rounded programs that blend cardio, strength, mobility, and flexibility. Horton’s P90X was about transformation through consistency and challenging different muscle groups, which aligns with my programs like Barbell Burn, (aka Sculpt & Tone), and the Total Body Transformation Reboot. We both create engaging, dynamic workouts that keep clients motivated with different styles of fitness, making them suitable for all levels. My style is intense but approachable, mixing a sense of fun with focus and structure, making fitness enjoyable while delivering results. I'm supportive, motivational, and high-energy, just like those two fitness icons.
As a fitness professional, my specialty lies in group fitness and personalized training, with a focus on blending high-energy, structured workout programs that cater to various fitness levels. I offer a wide range of services, including Zumba, resistance training (like Barbell Burn and Sculpt & Tone), HIIT, STRONG Nation®, Cycle Fit, and personalized fitness challenges (e.g., the fall fitness challenge with MyZone). I also provide programs like the 28-day Total Body Transformation Reboot and gym orientations for beginners.
My approach is holistic, focusing on strength, endurance, mobility, and overall well-being, with an emphasis on proper form, technique, and the mental side of fitness (encouraging dreams, soothing fears, and motivating clients, reducing stress and anxiety). I balance fun and intensity in my classes, while offering variety in both workout styles and fitness goals.
